Kristen brings 14 years of family practice and urgent care experience to the Sierra Nevada ENT team.
Originally from the Bay Area, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Southern California at the University of California, Los Angeles. There she obtained her degree in anthropology while completing the pre-medical track. Days riding her bike on the beach and interacting with Southern California’s diverse population solidified her desire to work in a profession that promotes health and wellness. Inspired to become a Physician Assistant, she moved to Connecticut to attend the Yale School of Medicine Physician Associate Program. Although rigorous, she enjoyed learning in-depth about the human body and how it interacts with the surrounding world. There she met her future husband, Matthew. They traveled extensively around the world before settling in Las Vegas. They have four children: three daughters and a son.
Kristen values the easy-going, outdoor lifestyle that she grew up with. After spending time in Southern Nevada, she moved to South Reno, where her family intends to stay. Being able to take her children biking, hiking, skiing and living in such close proximity to Lake Tahoe is a great gift. She treasures her decision to be a part of the Northern Nevada community, which has become home as her family’s roots continue to grow.
Kristen is excited about this next chapter in otolaryngology and the opportunity to learn and grow with the amazing team of doctors and practitioners at SNENT.
